Aviation fair
Pardubice
We participated in Aviation Fair again. We had great pleasure to welcome in our camp exRAF airmen. Our living history display was completed with display of our friends, USAAF reenactors.
Lecture of gen. Miroslav Štandera, exRAF

I, leader of our living history group, had to great honor to moderate the lecture of gen. Miroslav Štandera, fighter and night fighter pilot in the RAF. This lecture has been organised by friend from Army Museum Zdice.

We presented RAF uniforms and equipment to the visitors of Czech Internationa Air Fest.

In this year we took part in Dobový letecký den – Vintage Air Show in Mladá Boleslav again.
Festival Later summer in Libštát
Libštát
The movie Riders in the Sky was part of programme in the movie festival Later summer in Libštát. That we had our display in the cinema and later was organised a lecture with us about making of the movie. After this event, we met organisers of this event and with brother of Milan Belda, wireless operator of 311 Squadron. Because town Libštát is situated not far away from city Lomnice nad Popelkou, we visited a grave of František Truhlář, Air Gunner and fighter pilot, member of Guinea Pig Club of Dr. McIndoe.
Unveling of commemoration plaque of Jiří Sehnal

With great pleasure we took par in ceremony unveiling commemoration plaque of Jiří Sehnal in Lázně Bělohrad, former Intelligence Officer in RAF and later airmen in 1st Czechoslovak fighterregiment in USSR.

dedicated to Stanislav Mikula
Boršice u Buchlovic
We were invited to attend unveiling ceremony of commemoration plaque dedicated to Stanislav Mikula, both Tobruk Rat and Air Gunner in 311 Squadron of RAF. This commemoration plaque is places on his house in Boršice u Buchlovic. A museum dedicatwed to his memory is in this house too, managed by his son. Whole event had more parts, not only unveiling of the plaque, but commemoration event in cemetery, near grave, where is Stanislav Mikula burried. It was honor for us, but because I know him personaly, it was difficult to heard about his death.
Donation of relics to the Museum of Josef Koukal, Luže, East Bohemia

Our colleagues bought relics from plane of Josef Koukal, RAF fighter pilot, that we donated it to his museum in Luže near Chrudim, East Bohemia.

Some of Czechoslovak squadrons were based in Scotland and our friends, reenactors, reenacted Scottish units, that was reason, why we attended this event with our RAF equipment.
Tank day
Military technical museum Lešany
Because our friends from Rota Nazdar travelled around the world with presentation of the movie of Václav Marhoul Tobruk, that we were invited to attend this event. It was very interesting experience for us, including meeting with ethusiasts in history and relatives of RAF veterans too.
Anniversary of Battle over Ore Mountains
Kovářská
This event was unique meeting of RAF, Luftwaffe and USAAF airmen. It commemorated air battle over this mountain, during which was large units of American bombers attacked by German fighter pilots. Commemoration event is held in front of Grammar School, which bear name of J. C. Kluttze. It was possible to see any exhibitions of military vehicles and equipment, including equipment of RAF in this year. The most interesting part of this location is Museum dedicated to this battle, directed by very good enthusiasts and our friends.
Poppy Day, Remembrance Sunday
Praha
This event is held every year in Olšany cemetery, in sector of Commonwealth War Graves. It is prepared by Embassy of United Kingdom in Prague.

Because our members are active with camera too, we exhibit not only RAF equipment, but mainly photographs here.
Charity event Open Skyes

This event was prepared for disabled people. It was very interesting experience to be here and show to all visitors equipment of airmen, who fought for freedom of all of us.
